Energy Names Followed Crude Prices Higher while General Motors Announced Two Executive Changes

Last week, the Opportunity Equity Strategy’s representative account gained 0.05%, outperforming the S&P 500’s -0.06% fall. (Exhibit 1). The strategy ended the week up 10.23% YTD, 506 basis points behind the S&P 500.

Citigroup Inc. (C) rose through the 50-day moving average on limited news. Oppenheimer lowered their price target from $86 to $85 (34% upside).

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) rose through the 100-day moving average following a JPM report citing a stronger cruise line forward year booking curve YoY.

Seadrill Limited (SDRL) rose through the 50-day moving average in sympathy with Brent’s +1.4% move higher over the week.

Energy Transfer LP (ET) also followed crude prices higher throughout the week.

Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) reached a new all-time high on Thursday. Wells Fargo increased their price target from $234 to $239 (24% upside).

Mattel, Inc. (MAT) reached a new 52-week low on Wednesday on limited news.

PureTech Health plc (PRTC LN) fell through the 200-day moving average on limited news.

Crocs, Inc. (CROX) fell on limited news.

Jefferies lowered their price target on Delta Air Lines, Inc. (DAL) from $58 to $56 (18% upside).

General Motors Co (GM) announced two executive changes. The company hired Mark Whitten, a founding engineer of Microsoft’s Xbox console and previous Amazon executive, to lead their struggling Cruise division and Grant Dixon to replace Craig Glidden as General Counsel.
