Christopher Vacek joined the team in 2024 as the Chief Operating Officer. Chris brings three decades of experience in operations and asset management to the team.

Prior to joining Patient Capital, Chris was Senior Vice President for a family office based in Bethesda, MD. Chris held roles at Brown Advisory as a Senior Project Manager, where he led the launch of the firm's first non-US denominated Fund, and various technology and operational initiatives. Prior to Brown Advisory, he was with Clark Enterprises, as Director of Operations and Risk Management where he led the Investment Operations department, managed third-party custodial and brokerage relationships, and conducted operational due diligence. Chris was Director of Operations at Legg Mason Capital management and began his career at T. Rowe Price, in various operations and compliance roles.

Chris holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from The American University, Kogod College of Business in Washington, DC.
